It features a fishing pier, volleyball court, shops, restaurants and a creek. Events are hosted at the beach regularly. It is also used to host a lifeguard summer camp where children can learn about water safety, first aid, lifesaving, fitness and good sportsmanship.
  • Capitola Village: Capitola Village is a quaint, Mediterranean inspired seaside town with colorful buildings and unique shops and galleries. It’s a great place to find jewelry, art, souvenirs and beach attire. It was once home to the Capitola Classic skateboarding event and it still has a strong skate community.
  • Near to Santa Cruz: Capitola is just 15 minutes away from Santa Cruz. Residents can easily hop over to enjoy the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Amusement Park, the Natural Bridges State Beach and the many shops and restaurants in the area.
